What if all of the important information was boring (like the fast-talk on radio commercials), and all of the addictive, manipulative, stressful, dangerous, oppressive, time-wasting useless trash was super-interesting?

Like TV, Radio, News, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

What if?

Alone With Two Zombies In An Elevator

So, there I am, I walk into the elevator at work, and there are two twenty-something women standing there, their faces glued to their cellphones, as if there was something of urgent, possibly emergency or life-saving importance contained on those screens.

“Oh, I pushed the wrong number,” the one zombie said to the other, half-focused.

There was brief communication between the two female zombies.

Being that I do not have a cellphone, I make a joke, “I feel out of place. I don’t have a device.”

The one zombie looks up for a fraction of a second, no response, and then reglues her head to her cellphone.

I was alone in the elevator with two zombies.

It was horrifying.
